hey when I drop tune all 5 strings
I drop tune all 5 Strings for Gosple gigs or Church
Hey man! I’ve tried it before and loved how I was able to hit those low B flats but when I had to ready music for school I was so used to playing standard tuning that I would keep having to tuning my bass up and down to fit with what I was playing! So that was a headache. But I would say those who are starting off earlier in their playing that way then they should be more comfortable with reading while tuned down. It’s still pretty cool to know a lot of guys that tune down still in the game
Yea that tuning up and down was was too much for me too, So now I have a bass that’s tuned down a whole step, and have a 5 string bass that’s tuned a 4th up and I also have two 5 strings that’s tuned Standard
Nice! It’s great to have all those options
Yes for those special occasions and Studio sessions
