When you solo, it seems so smooth and deliberate. How do you put all the pieces together to flow like that?
I’ve come up with predetermined phrases that I know will work and because the fretboard is pattern based I take advantage of that when moving through different keys. Also learning the modes in every key and how to transition through them helps a lot. There’s a tutorial that helps out with this concept called the “best melodic exercise “ check that out
