Bass Recording Tips
Here are some tips that you won’t normally hear from any bassist. I can understand how frustrating it could be trying to achieve a great sound and tone from your instrument. But here are just a few tips that has helped me throughout the years.

Daric what’s up Bro? You are so right, I started recording my self and ended up releasing two Singles, my first one was in October and the second one I released in December of 2023.
maybe its worth adding, that most interfaces have dedicated instrument inputs, which provide “high impedance load characteristics” (nevermind of this 😉 ) which basically means, your bass / guitar sound will sound more “real”.
if you dont have this, most interface have a “pad” option where it turns your signal down around 10 or 20db which may help you out with those kind of issues.
also, give you guys plenty of headroom when recording – you can always turn it up later without having too much noise in the recording as you would get in the old analog days when you had to record relatively hot, so to not record too much noise with it.
hope this makes sense to you and helps somebody!
