    1. absolutely. I suggest that you surround yourself with music as much as you can. that can include listening to the radio and trying to playback the baseline. Listening to singers and trying to imitate their voice And also Studying These intervals As much as you can in every key

  1. Ok got it. I’ve been playing for a little over 30 years, but i’m starting over know. I was playing in church but stopped playing altogether since my son was murdered last year. I just don’t have the desire to play any more up until yesterday. When i pick my bass up sometimes all i can play is 2 or 3 notes then i put it back down. It seems as though life has been sucked right out to me. I will keep trying, but now i know i have to start all over learning music again. Thanks for your help.

  2. So I’m not sure I’m asking this correctly but the question that Johnflindsey7 asked about the ear training in all the keys does that apply to some one who sings a song in a different key then what the artist sing it in. The Musician who plays the keyboard for my Male Chorus on Sunday said if a leader sing a song in C# then play those keys associated with it? I’m new to this so bare with me.

  3. Hello Daric I was listening to a song and heard the minor 6th interval on it while at the gym. It was by rapper Fabolous and the song was called keeping it gangsta. Thought I should mention it to you and see if my thinking is correct about it.

      1. It’s basically throughout the whole song. Its an electronic sound possibly a synthesizer but definitely can be done on bass guitar. Didn’t look into the key. It was just an aha moment while in the gym and thought I can share.
