i like the way this sounds starting on B2 what scale/Key would this be? My guess D Major, because it has a C
All the modes in this course are all in the key of C major. On difference is the you start on the 7th note of the scale (locrian). So the key is still C major no matter what note you start on.

Hey Felix! It actually take a while to “master” the modes. Ole miss I am still working on them. But it is important to have a foundation of information once you explore into soloing. The modes are a tool you can use when improvising over chord changes. In the lessons linked below you should be able to get a concept of how the modes are used and how to utilize them
