Thanks so much Kareem
Hey man I have really been enjoying your lessons. On this particular breakdown, I was wondering if you could go back over it, Justin Bass was really hot and I could not make out alot of what he was saying. Thanks
Hey Rob absolutely!
Great lesson. One question please! If C major key then A minor as 6, F major as 4 then E should be minor shouldn’t it – but E7 with G# resolves really well. Has it changed to A major key for that last bar? Thanks
You’re exactly right and I agree with you but it’s one of those weird things even though diatonically it should be Eminor, E7 resolves really nice to the 6. You can find a lot of songs that include this same concept. But also in other situations the E minor works as well. Great question!
thanks for asking that question, Henders! Just learned something new! Going back over songs I know and substituting the dominant 7 chord over the minor 6 and hearing how it works perfectly!
Any pdf?
Hey! Justin didn’t originally include a pdf but I’ll try to get one out to you asap🤟🏾
