started at 4, then 5, now at a 6 fell in love with it. But i am definitely going to grab a 7 string as well.
Started on a 4…went to 5…then a 6! Took all that time to fall in love with the bass function ..so now I spend most of the time on 4’s!

5 string like the low notes
Seriously eyeing up a 6 as my next step up, having used a 5 for the last 20yrs.
I’m playing gospel, older soul music and R&B. I got pretty frustrated not having a lower Eb, and the thought of tuning down didn’t really appeal to me. I got a 5 string, pretty much for the lower Eb!!
Same Here man! Just couldn’t bring myself to tune down! Felt really weird but a lot of guys swear by it🤷🏾♂️
