CHORDS COURSE – Part 5 – Time to Get Funky

#BASSNATION this week’s lesson combines intervals, chords and inversions to create a groovin’ bassline that you will love 😉 I break down each different segment of the groove so you can see exactly what I was doing and thinking when I created the line. As always take it as slow as you need, make sure the notes are coming out clean, clear and precise….dig in with me and learn some new tricks in this week’s lesson!

    1. OK. So if I was improvising over this groove one way to think about it is key of G Major (E relative minor) with the C and D major chord inversions you are playing as the 4th and 5th scale tones? Is that the right way to think about it? (Just trying to visualize what I can use or think about when improvising further over something like this.)
