Thanks for posting this. I used your original post on Facebook as an ear training exercise. Nice to know I transcribed it correctly.
Playing it on the other hand……… Still a work in progress, lol
That’s awesome! Can you post it here? I want to see it!
Sure thing! Traveling back home from Canada. Will post when I get back!
Awesome! Thought I saw your reply but don’t see it anymore
It’s awesome man! Your MP3 though…it’s in Cm, half step lower than the original. You tricked me 😉
Really?! Sorry about that something must’ve happened while uploading I’ll fix that ASAP!
That’s sick! Nice job! I was going to post my *attempt* at 80 bpm but now….lol
I’ve backed down to 80 bpm to clean it up. After listening to it, I noticed a lot I need to improve on. It doesn’t sit in the pocket enough to me.
Here’s what I’ve got so far, still struggling. Any tips on my technique to keep from tripping up at the end?
So, what you have so far is great! One thing I would say is just be conscious of the metronome. A line like this automatically makes you want to speed it up. So just make sure those 16 notes are matching the down beats and up beats. I would suggest taking it a tad bit slower to execute the rhythm because the notes are there. Slowing down Will help you focus on the right hand technique a little better with the hammer ons and pull offs. Good work
Hello!! Can we get the new mp3 please to practice with? The example is in c not csharp.
Hey Matthew! Sure! I’m not sure what happened to that file, it should be in the same key, but I’ll get that fixed for you ASAP
Hey Matthew, should be fixed now, thanks for Bringing that to our attention
