Hi Daric! Interesting lesson, thank you. How would you approach building bass lines if there is a chord progression involved? The same? Or in other words, how do you escape getting stuck with playing the bass notes of the chords? ✌️
Great question, and yes I approach almost the same way, it’s really important to be able to play the roots of the chords, but you can also include some other chord tones along with it. That’s the trick. you don’t want to ever stray away from the root notes of the chords but more so embellish on top of it. I’ll do a video demonstration of this because this is an awesome topic
