  1. Thanks Daric, I have some questions please. 1. At what time do you have to fill in minor pentatonic scale in a song?2. Minor pentatonic will have to go with key of minor….e.g if a singer is singing on E minor, can I decide to form my base line using E-minor scale and so on?These are relative questions to gospel bass

    • This is just an example of what you could possibly do inside of a groove or song. You can experiment with it as far as placement. Preferably you would want to insert this Lick/scale inside a open space of the song. Especially if the song is in a minor key, you can use this minor pentatonic scale/Lick as an option.

  2. New to the community and this is my first time posting to the site other than my intro to the community. Anyways, this is a great excersise as it gives me hope that I can learn to groove by myself lol. Sorry thats the tuba player in me coming out. I had to change it a little bit because of the drum track I was using but what do you think? https://youtu.be/ZcebEZGJZQo
