I like this, Daric. The fact that you emphasize becoming smooth with the technique first, before ramping things up, says a lot in terms of your instruction. An adage that comes from–of all things–personal defense, says: smooth is fast. Practice to get smooth with whatever you’re learning and that will carry you toward your goal.
