Stop Getting Lost in Modes: Use Checkpoints
Take Lesson Quiz Below
We’re diving into one of the most powerful ways to connect your ideas on the fretboard by visualizing shapes instead of chasing random notes. In this clip from one of our live masterclasses, we break down how seeing the layout of your scales and modes helps you build smoother, more intentional bass lines that actually sound musical.
This isn’t just theory, it’s about creating freedom! When you understand how shapes link together, you stop second-guessing what to play and start expressing ideas naturally.
Whether you’re building a groove, a fill, or a solo, this method helps everything flow together with confidence and direction.
