2 Octave 5 String Major Scale Lesson

#BASSNATION this week’s lesson is geared mostly towards my 5 string players! I’ll be covering the major scale over 2 octaves! This is a really great lesson for anyone looking to expand their fretboard knowledge and navigation. If you work this into your practice and really get a handle on it, you can cover much of the fretboard with these tips!

  1. Man THANK YOU DB man this opened my ability to stretch my neck & coupled with the (MODES) it makes SENSE!!
I found myself figuring out the minor modes just from moving my position & scaling a double octave now….. Not perfected but I get!

    1. Hey, that’s very interesting. Small hands really shouldn’t be a factor when playing. You can always make the necessary shifts when playing and not have to physically stretch your hands. I started playing when I was 9 and didn’t have a choice lol. Would love to see you play a little for me 😉
