ahhhh i’ve been away for so long .. but i’ve been practicing with that speed and some dexterity exercises you’ve shared ! I’ve never really payed as much attention to the eq for different genres haha
Hey Phil no problem! I always say the technical stuff like eq and frequency recognition can come later on your playing m, so you can continue to focus more on the fundamental aspect of playing! This will come over time! Great to have you back 🤟🏾
Would you say gospel and r&b could use the same eq (if that question makes any sense)
Good question! I would say that they are pretty similar depending on what specific style of rnb. Say for instance the Motown rnb would be a little different than like R Kelly type of rnb. Which would use more of a “deep sub/low end “ sound verses a “p bass neck bias pick up sound
