Isn’t that the Trace Elliot sound from the 80’s/90’s? Boost at 40 Hz, wide cut at 400Hz and boost at 4KHz? I think that’s what their “Shape” button did. I loved the sound but couldn’t afford Trace back then.
The “dwarves of bad sound” thing is a little cheesy, it comes from Rational Acoustics / Pro Sound and probably existed before they made a shirt. But this is a somewhat informative video:
