Ghost Note tips for a starting out
The most important element about ghost notes is your mindset… It’s vital to be able to feel the rhythm while you’re playing to be able to mimic a percussionist, and or a drummer. That has been the easiest way for me to think about it in order to execute properly. Take advantage of this unique expression and don’t be afraid to come up with your own style.

With this, I honestly feel that you have just explained the absolute essence of what makes a person’s bass playing funky and… authoritative. Wow!! Good job!! You have yourself a fantastic Memorial Day weekend and thank you for this insight!
I find ghost notes are a great way to supplement songs that are simple, root-note basslines or songs that are busy on other instruments. Keeps me from getting bored 🙂
