MINI LESSON – TIP WHEN LEARNING MODES
Hey Bass Nation! Hopefully you all are doing great! In this lesson I talk about the importance of hearing the difference between each mode. Not just diatonically. Sometimes we can get stuck in learning one way but it’s very crucial that we learn how to differentiate between the modes using the same root note. It will greatly help with the development of your ears when you’re faced with certain situations. If you see this Caption, just drop a comment for me 🤟🏾

Hi Daric, great practice advice….I`m a little bit stuck with practicing the modes up and down the scale…..and having a lack of creativity playing around with each mode.I`m just reapiting the shapes over and over….Greetings from Germany
Hey Nikolas, My apologies! Just seeing this comment. Understand completely! I will focus more on creating more/new content to get you out of only scale shapes. It’s funny because it’s almost like you have the answer in your comment. If you’re stuck playing the same shapes over and over again, just play different shapes. It may sound simple but is a little bit more to it. So I totally get what you’re saying. So be on the lookout for more lessons and examples of getting out of the shape of modes.
thanks for commenting on this as well 🤟🏾

Hi Daric!
Thanks for the reply!!!
Playing with a backing track will deffnitly help braking out of my routine!!!The other problem is that I definitely stuck in the playing shape of the mode.I play the shape over and over so that I don’t have to think about it and can play it right away, but watching you play around freely with the mode is a another level. You go for the sound,I still go for the shape of the mode.Maybe you have some practice tips for freeing myself!!!
Inspiring as always!!!
Greetings from Germany
