The Difference Between Major & Minor 3rds w/ Exercise

  1. How long, and how many different scales should I practice before moving to the next? I got Cmajor, Cminor and the dominant down pretty much. Should I keep doing them over and over for a few days before moving to the next one or two scales? I seem to be getting jumbled up with too many too fast lol

    1. I always say practice whatever it is your focusing on until you done have to think about it anymore. Just being very comfortable with it until it “burns in your brain”. While you’re practice also make sure you pay close attention to how it sounds. I talk about that a lot in the first part of the ear training course. But everyone’s learning ability is different so I can’t put a specific time limit on it. Just enjoy the process of learning something new.

  2. Thanks, i’m glad I made the decision to join the Bass Nation. I started out to Join Scott’s Bass lessons, But it seemed to be for people that were advanced in reading music already. Looking at his youtube videos. they were just too fast. This is where I should be. Thanks
