Whats up DB. Just joined and Im so excited about enhancing my playing skills…. I admire and appreciate your style and flow. Thanks for sharing !!!
So awesome! Love the enthusiasm! Remember we’re on this journey together! However I can help please let me know!
What’s your fingering 1 b3 5 chord on the E string? It looks like you are curling your index finger over the string.
For the 2nd chord position, my fingering is 1st finger 3rd finger on the “A” string then my first finger is playing both the root note and the “G” on the “G” string at the same time as the “E” string
Hey I noticed a recurring theme within the first few modal videos you have. But if I may make a suggestion, I think it would be helpful to newcomers if you put those arpeggios and chordal fingering positions within the pdf as well. Since there is no dialogue within the film?
Unless I missed a lesson where you talk about the same major/minor chords on different parts of the neck? I just thought it would help. the scale is understandable but the other parts of the video are hard to learn by ear although I know we can do it!
Thank you for these awesome lessons though and if maybe I can help you type my suggestion on musescore for you I would be happy to!
Thank you
Sincerely,
Alex D.
Hey Alex! Great suggestion and I may implement that in the future, but I do discuss the fingerings and chordal positions in a later lesson. I try to make sure I fully explain these concepts to you all. This is more of a quick reference to each mode! Thanks for your suggestion I may need you in the future 😎
Sweet I haven’t gotten to later lessons yet but I appreciate the timely response! I understand now what you mean and why these videos are here. I’m off to the shed! And if you do need me to help in any way I followed you on instagram @realjazzyrican please give me a follow back and whenever you feel like you need the help just shoot me a DM or a message on your site :). It’s the least I can do bro!
Absolutely! 👌🏾🤘🏾
Again, this is so helpful. Perfect video.
You can’t run before you walk… this is all starting to make more sense, gradually. I still need to persevere with learning layout of the fretboard.
Focusing on modes over the next two weeks whilst I have a break from work. Wish me well!
great to learn this fantastic chord sound works awesome cheers
Awesome Ashok! Glad it helped
