MASTER YOUR FRETBOARD
#BASSNATION – it’s time to dig in hard on your fretboard! This is a more advanced lesson to quickly cover each mode, tonality and scale in the key of C. These same scales and chords (patterns) can be applied to any key depending on your starting position. Take a look and let me know what you think. I encourage any questions or comments!

Yo Daric – Cool exercise 😉 This is really helping me get my fingers trained to play these chords….and I’ve never played the Locrian scale with the flat 5, always a standard minor….good stuff!
Thanks for all you do 😉
Thanks! Have fun with it!
No problem Jeff! It’s always good to experiment with different tones. You never know what you may like!
Just in case I missed something can you do a lesson on finger positions and how to correctly get your fingers in shape to play modes for the absolute beginner, someone who’s never put their fingers on the bass strings.
Hey No problem! You want to take a look at the Modes course part 1 and 2. I go over and explain fingering and placement for the modes in those lessons. I can revisit though if need be! Any more questions don’t hesitate to ask!
Daric. Man . I love your lessons but this master one will push me more and more . Appreciate you brother!!!!
Fenda! My man! This one will definitely give your brain and fingers workout! Just call this a “cardio exercise” for bass lol.
God bless you daric
Same here! Keep groovin!
That Video is really helpful. Thanks Deric!
Awesome! Glad I could help!!!
Fantastic, I love this stuff Daric. Thanks for blowing my mind a bit.
