Incredible. Thanks guys.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you guys for that talk . I now understand that while it is a good thing to understand the theory that goes into whatever you play if don’t has the feel for it you don’t have much.
I love this discussion. Immersion – best way to learn any language. Always loved Gospel but never could fully appreciate the complexities until I started on bass and tried to play it myself.
I watched this video about a week ago and it lead me down the Youtube rabbit hole. My curiosity about the different flavors sprinkled on the Gospel dish y’all talked about sparked this initiative. I came upon Justin’s cover of Our God Reigns. I heard the Latin influence in the forth minute and Celtic pretty much throughout. Then at the 5 minute mark, dude I gotta tell you, when he followed the keys I started waiting for the pipes to kick in. I love Celtic music. Have no idea why. Little bit of Irish on the ancestry trail I suppose. At any rate, great video and lesson site. I appreciate the open minded approach. Fits my learning process perfectly. A tree without branches and leaves to feed it is just fire wood. Hope that makes sense.
Hey thanks so much and yes that makes perfect sense I understand completely. That just goes to show you that you can have influences in any genre and you don’t necessarily have a reason to like it he can just speak to you.
