Understanding Chord Symbols
#BASSNATION in this week’s lesson I’ll be spelling out a 1 – 4 progression from C to F, both of which are major scales. I’ll be discussing the chord tones associated with this groove and options for playing the groove along with the drum beat, how to add different feels to the specific groove depending on what the other musicians are doing. This is a great lesson to learn more about tonal options as well as accenting a song to give the feel you want.
